Belt/Contemporary Voice Technique (Full Year)

ELECTIVE & ADULT PROGRAMS

These technique-focused intensive classes allow students at all levels to further develop their skills in specific classes or electives.  Some classes are performance-based, while other electives may focus on technical theatre or other theatre skills.  Adult classes focus on beginner and intermediate programs to reintroduce you to all thing’s musical theatre.

BELT/CONTEMPORARY VOICE TECHNIQUE - (LEVEL: BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE) (TEACHING ARTIST: CARRIE BANFI & EMILY ARBOUR)

In this dynamic course, young performers will build a solid technique to discover/refine the power and versatility of their mixed-belt while maintaining healthy vocal habits. Throughout the sessions the instructors will guide the students through a structured curriculum designed to develop a reliable technique, vocal strength, control, and consistency. Through fun vocal exercises and personalized coaching, they will also explore the importance of mastering vocal techniques for storytelling. The instructors will provide personalized guidance to help each student unlock their full potential, focus on techniques to strengthen and expand their vocal range while maintaining healthy vocal habits.
